Ingredients for “Napoleon” cake:
1500 gr of puff pastry
5 egg yolks
400 gr of sugar
250 gr of flour
1200 mg of milk
1 spoonful of vanilla sugar
10 ml of cognac
110 gr of walnuts
Defrost the pastry and boil the milk. Mix the flour with sugar and vanilla sugar, then egg 5 yolks. Mix everything again with a mixer, then add cognac and mix one’s more.
Pour the milk and mix thoroughly again. Cook on a slow fire.
Cook till it becomes thick, stirring continuously. The consistence has to be something like thick sour cream, then cool the cream.
