One of the most common questions we (the Success Coaches) get asked, is to help members (clients) understand their income here. So here is my overview, which should give you a clearer understanding.
A typical question may be like this -
"How can I understand my 'earnings' on FanBox - are they like a salary?" The following is intended to cover that fully - but if you have further questions, please ask your SC or leave me a query in the comments section below.
Answer:-
"I will happily clarify that for you - may I start by ensuring you are clear on the basic differences between employment and using a web site to generate some income. This will take a few minutes to read, but should ensure you have a solid understanding of the various potential incomes you can earn here, their costs and their various short and longer term benefits.
We should not view the earnings here as 'salary' as that is correctly used only when people are employed to undertake a job, though used carefully this site can certainly give you a great extra source of income.
Here on FanBox we are all trying to earn a little extra income by blogging, trading and investing - we are in effect all making a small business.
Blogs are the easiest to understand in some ways, as there is no cost to write and publish a blog, but there can be costs to promote it with ads - even though we make a small margin of profit on ads. What we earn from blogging is pure profit, so even $6.00 would be actual profit to keep.

Italian doctors have saved the life of a 16-month-old boy by implanting the world's smallest artificial heart to keep the infant alive until a donor was found for a transplant.
The doctors at Rome's Bambino Gesu hospital said the operation was carried out last month and made public this week. The baby, whose identity has not been disclosed, was kept alive for 13 days before the transplant and is now doing well.
The baby was suffering from dilated myocardiopathy, a heart muscle disease which normally causes stretched or enlarged fibers of the heart. The disease gradually makes the heart weaker, stopping its ability to pump blood effectively.
"This is a milestone," surgeon Antonio Amodeo told Reuters television, adding that while the device was now used as bridge leading to a transplant, in the future it could be permanent.
